Reminder Emails
When you invite customers by email , Contendar can chase a non-response for you with up to three reminder emails.
Open the reminder settings
- Go to NPS > Forms and open your form.
- Go to the Invites tab.
- Click Manage reminder emails.
Turn reminders on
Use the Automatic reminders toggle. It is off by default.
When it is on, a customer who has not responded gets a follow-up on a fixed schedule:
- Day 3 after the first invite.
- Day 7 after the first invite.
- Day 14 after the first invite.
Each step fires on its own. A skipped or failed step never blocks the next one.
Declining, unsubscribing, or submitting a score always stops any remaining reminders for that customer.

Edit the emails
There are four emails you can edit, shown in the list on the left:
- Initial invite
- Reminder, Day 3
- Reminder, Day 7
- Reminder, Day 14
For each one you can set:
- Subject
- Message: the body text, with basic formatting.
- Button label: the wording on the button. The button always links to your NPS form. You can change the label, not the destination.
Use the Edit and Preview tabs to switch between editing and seeing how the email will look.
Personalise with merge tags
In the Personalization panel, click a field to place your cursor, then click a tag to insert it:
- Customer's first name:
{{customerName}} - Your name:
{{senderName}}
In the Preview tab, sample names are shown in place of these tags. Each customer's real details are filled in when the email actually sends.
If you type a tag that is not recognised, a warning appears. The unknown tag is left in the email as plain text rather than being blanked out.
Reset an email
Each email has a Reset to default button. This replaces your custom subject, message, and button label for that step with the original default text. This cannot be undone.
