Create a Prompt
A prompt is a question you want to track, something a potential customer might ask an AI assistant.
Create a prompt
- Go to Content Marketing > AI SEO Visibility.
- Click Create Prompt.
The Create GEO Prompt dialog has two tabs.
Manual
Write the exact question yourself in the Prompt box, for example: "What are the latest trends in AI-powered marketing tools?" It must be at least 10 characters. Click Create Prompt.
AI Generate
Let Contendar write the question for you.
- Enter a Topic or Focus Area, for example "local SEO" or "product marketing".
- Click Generate with AI.
Complete your Business Analysis first. AI Generate uses it to write a more relevant, natural-sounding question. If you haven't completed one yet, you'll see a warning and the generated prompt will be more generic.

What happens after you create a prompt
Your new prompt starts running right away, no separate "run" step. Contendar sends it to the AI models it monitors and begins collecting results.
The prompt limit
You can track up to 3 prompts at a time per project. If you're at the limit, delete an old prompt to make room for a new one. See Manage your prompts .
