Overview
Testimonials let you collect, review, and show customer reviews. You can collect written reviews, photo reviews, and video reviews.
Where to find Testimonials
- Open your project.
- In the left sidebar, go to the Retention section.
- Click Testimonials.
The Testimonials section has seven pages:
- Forms: build a form to collect reviews from customers.
- Import: bring in reviews you already have from other sites or tools.
- Submissions: approve or reject reviews before you show them.
- Showcase: display your approved reviews on your website.
- Case studies: turn one review into a full success story.
- Analytics: see trends across your reviews.
- Webhooks: send review events to other tools, like Zapier.
There is also a Customers page. This page is not inside Testimonials, but it is closely linked to it. It lists everyone who has submitted, or been invited to submit, a review.
The basic workflow
- Create a form. This is the questionnaire your customers fill in.
- Share the form, or invite customers to it by email.
- Review submissions. Approve the good ones. Reject the ones you do not want.
- Showcase your approved reviews on your website, as a page or a widget.
You can also skip step 1 and 2. Use the Import page to bring in reviews you already have from sites like Google Reviews or Trustpilot, or from tools like Senja.
The status of a review
Every review moves through these statuses:
| Status | What it means |
| Pending | The review has arrived. It has not been checked yet. |
| Approved | You have checked the review. You can now show it. |
| Rejected | You have checked the review. You will not show it. |
Only Approved reviews can be added to a Showcase, shared as a link, or turned into a case study.
